I got a situation trying to update JNLP file assocaition in windows manually without success. Would you please comment on this here -

is it possible to create folder structure(new directories) says some temp folder in drive c:\myTemp for some processing purpose using java web start technology.

My main problem also was to force the 1.5. JRE to download if you have the 1.4.x jre on the machine. Looks like since the CLSID is the same for both 1.5 and 1.4, the browser doesnt see a difference unless the #Version is specified. Thanks.

I had the biggest problem trying to figure out how to force the 1.5.0 JRE to download, if you already had 1.4.2 Webstart. Thanks a lot for pointing this out. Cheers!
